From Excel you can export directly to HTML. Check the help-files, succes

You CAN export to HTML from Excel BUT you get html files that are at least 10 times larger than you expect. There are all sorts of styles in the html file (i think one per cell) that you don't need. It only makes your files slower to load. So, I think you shouldn't export from Excel to html.

have a look at dreamweaver it allows you to import tabular data. I used it to create some html files containing big excel spreadsheets once upon a time.

If anyone knows of any way to convert from an excel spreadsheet to html in php.. I'm all ears
