At that point, MySQL would have long since collapsed under the load, but Oracle will likely still be chugging along just fine.
Build a page that randomly inserts a row, selects it, then deletes it. Then call it with ab (Apache aBuse/Benchmark) with -n 10 -c 100 and see how it behaves on both.
