Connect to a MS SQL 2000 from Linux

i have a linux box with apache and php, and i want to connect to a Windows 2000 box with MSSql 2000...

I finally found the solution in http://sourceforge.net/projects/odbc

you install a program to the computer running MSSql server, and php connects to it directly...

it is called ODBC Socket Server..

Fast, clean and mean 😉)
no linux modifications, setup in 2 minutes...
