Mysql Remote

Hi

Can anyone help me.

I have PHP & Mysql set up locally & it's working how I want it to.

Now I have a remote server with PHP support, CGI etc, but no root access, can I set up mysql remotely or do I need the assistance of my hosting company.

I guess technically you could run mysql as a user, but it's much better to ask your host to set up mysql for you.

Your question I have miss it,before I think,
it's problem of my server,but not.

When we use a remote server,the server of username and password have changed,so no root access.

Now,you must know the server of username and password,or IP,then you can connect to the server.

Exp:linux+SQL Server+PHP 4.0
$string=mssql_connect'202.114.8.8','username','password')
