POP3 recieving mail by PHP

I can send email from any address usung mail() procedure, now I am trying to find a way to recieve emails from a special pop3 id , ( if i have user id and password ).
what can I do ?

I do now know sql good , is there a free ready to use code for it ?

Well on to the question. The answer Amin is yes, you can check your pop accounts. Check the imap pop3 function is the manual for more on this but basically you would say:

$mbox = imap_open("{foo.com/pop3:110}INBOX,"user","pass");

then you could read it or whatever. See
