Hi
I am doing an INSERT into a MySQL table, where there is a numeric INT field, UNSIGNED...
seems no matter what number i try to insert, I get some ridiculously huge number appearing in the database - something like 42759blah blah - big number - seems like maximum number an Unsigned INT field can take
This happens regardless of whether I insert a 0 or a 1 or 4229 or whatever....
I have worked around this by making the field a MEDIUMINT - which doesn't share this issue.....
I know I have encountered this b4, and I have read about it somewhere, but can anyone refresh my memory as to why this occurs....
