Store and receive file names with space

Hi !

I´ve just a question....
I build a database to store some documents inside. Yes...there are some M$ Word documents as well. To store the data and filename is no problem. A select * from test;
shows me the Word Document with Space.

Example: this is my text in word.doc

I get after my searchscript the links with the data back:

http://www.xyz.de/filename?this is my text in word.doc

If i klick now, it dosen´t work.
Cause the link "transfer only "this".
Nothing else in cause of the space..!

Is there any possiblitiy to make sure that there is no space within the filename or something like this or to convert the filename that there is no more space...

You have to encode the (filename) url, just RTFM:
