I'm having some difficulties with the iplanet server.

I am running a script that involves Oracle8 and I keep getting this error in the sever log.

PHP Warning: failed to rollback outstanding transactions! : Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-24324 in Unknown on line 0

And occasionally the server just locks up and I haveto call up so they can restart the server.

Below is the oracle error message for the error. Are you sure you have everything setup correctly and are using the functions correctly? Try and just do a connect and logoff and echo the connection variable returned by connect.

I have a system with netscape enterprise server 3.6+sunOS+php4.1.0+oracle, was php4.0.3pl1

ORA-24324: service handle not initialized

Cause: An attempt was made to use an improper service context handle.

Action: Verify that the service context handle has all the parameters initialized and set for this call.
