Hi,
I'd like to connect to a Lotus Notes database to retrieve information I need for some of my PHP-scripts on a Linux server.
Any one has any experience yet? I've been searching for this info for months now and still haven't found usefull ODBC or other connectivity advice... :-(
Kind regards, Erwin
if it supports ODBC, you can use php's ODBC functions.. if not.. well, get mad at wheover decided to use a 'lotus notes' database (yes, even if it was you that decided) :-P
Luckily I did not decide for the LN-database.
Unfortunately I am therefore also not in the position to alter things to this setup (unable to create new views, unable to create daily text-dump scripts, etc.)...
:-(
There is a Lotus Notes ODBC Driver available from IBM. It's designed to work with Notes Version >4.6.
If you go to the Notes download site (http://www.lotus.com/home.nsf/welcome/downloads) and do a search for "NotesSQL Driver" you should find a document containing the installation instructions and the necessary software.
If is only an MS ODBC driver however :-< .
Best of luck .
