Is there a quick way using SQL that can convert all the prices in a table to euro? given a table...
id name description price
and the exchange rate being .787564
I also need to round it up to the nearest whole number.
The correct SQL command is:
UPDATE products SET price=ROUND((price*0.787564)+0.5);
This should update all entries.
The nearest whole number? what happened to the two decimals? so if a price turns out to be Euro 10.01 you just put 11 Euro instead? doesn't sound right to me....
Well the prices are in the thousands, we're not going to argue over a couple of cents.
