Hi there!
I have a bit of a project I need some help to determine what is the best course of action to take. I guess I am looking for someone to take on this project, which I am currently deciding on.
Basically I would like a PHP Front end to a MySql database for the website http://www.4ctek.com
The data which I want included is pretty much what you see listed on the "state" pages.. ( use the menu on the left hand side to choose a state to see some actual data )
Currently that data is static and has to be entered manually.
My basic understanding of PHP has enabled me to create an email form that sends the info to me, and then I must enter it into the location where it goes. This is tedious at best.
What I want is this:
A form where a tech or a consultant can enter the information, which is stored in a MySql DB. The Info is then password protected so that only the registrant can change, delete, edit or update the information. The password should be emailed to registrant, and there should be a system in place to retrieve the password if lost (via email as well?)
I would also like to have it setup so that people cannot simply view the information without first signing up for the free service. Once signed up a password would be created and emailed to the user.
The user would then be able to conduct searches using various terms and fields.
The last part of this that I would like is to have some sort of notification, via email or some sort of log that shows when a new person registeres to be listed, or when a new user signs up to view the registrations.
Additionally, I would like some feedback as to ideas or concepts that could be put into place to make such a db more efficient.
If you are capable of undertaking such a project, please feel free to contact me.

(remove the .INVALID to email me )
Thanks,
