I have uses php to create a members-only site and i have set it up to where it emails the new user their information when the register. When they get the email the from comes from 'nobody' does anyone know how to change that?
nobody is most likely the userid that the PHP script is running as. I have not been able to override this on my box, so I'd be interested in a solution as well.
From the php manual:
mail("nobody@example.com", "the subject", $message, "From: webmaster@$SERVER_NAME\r\n" ."Reply-To: webmaster@$SERVER_NAME\r\n" ."X-Mailer: PHP/" . phpversion());
