Odd: Hyphen (-) preventing drop database

Hello,

Anyone have any ideas on how to do a drop database on a database whose name contains a hyphen (-)? I tried quotes and various escape characters.

mysql> DROP DATABASE groupmanager-tickets;
ERROR 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '-tickets' at line 1

i tried it also.

my suggestion would be to stop the mysql daemon and to delete the groupmanager-tickets folder in the mysql database directory.

i also revoked privileges for the table - which seemed to work fine.
