general help needed uploading for db

Im wondering how I should do the following. I want to display images from my database. Do they get saved to a folder on my webspace, or can they be stored to mysql. I want users to be able to enter their info, plus upload there picture all on the same form, instead of providing a cgi script for uploading.

You could do either. You could use a binary field in the database to store the picture or you could put the filename in the database and just same the image to a file.
