"I don't know, just seems a little futile to post "please reply" one hour after posting the original message."
I asked if anyone needed any more information to help. The list looked busy, as others were getting responses in the meantime, I assumed I did not have appropriate information. I asked if anyone needed more info to help. Sigh, I was just trying to get a little help, and give a little more info if someone needed it.
"So did this admin fellow read the mysql manual at all?"
That I'm not sure of. I've written an email to ask him.
"Then you are either have a huge number of clients, or you don't have much experience with databases. :-)"
Why do you make this assumption? I'll be the first to admit I'm not a database God, but I'm trying to learn.
"My question remains: did you or the admin read the mysql manual and did you or the admin look at the phpmyadmin manual?"
I did look at the admin manual, I can't get to mysql.org to see anything. I thought I answered this question in my previous post. I'll go elsewhere for help, obviously this is not the place.
Thanks anyway.
