what is difference between MS Access, MS SQL Server 7 and oracle 8i..

also the difference between oracle 8, 8i,9i,11i?

Access is a glorified spreadsheet, MS-SQL is a database server, and Oracle is an even bigger database server.

As to the diffs between all those oracle versions, how about surfing to www.oracle.com and finding out for yourself?

Oracle 8, 8i and 9i are all versions of the Oracles Database server. 9i is the latest and 8i and 8 are the version before. The i refers to interactive (I guess) and basically means there is java running inside the database which you can call from outside the database. The 11i is a version of Oracle Applications and is Oracle ERP application. It uses a database but I guess it's not what you need.
