Hi, im php newbie having major problems installing the phpmyadmin application on my server, actually ive tried this on two separate servers and still get the same problem.
What happens is that when i try to run the application from the web browser, i get the right hand frame with the usual options but the left-hand frame takes ages to load, dosent seem to be able to connect to the mysql database and eventually gives a DNS error with an error page displayed in the frame.
Is this a matter of an incorrect config file? ive tried this so many times and gone through the config file with a fine tooth comb and tried many different settings.
Please help as i am now very frustrated as i want to learn php by testing out php nuke.
