MySQL: Joining fields in select.

Hello again people,

I come with another silly question.

I what to be able to join some fields together in a select.

I've tried a few veriations for the statement alone but don't really know what I'm looking for.

The exmple below may help you understand what I'm trying to do.

table

col1=11
col2=22
col3=33

SELECT name FROM atable WHERE (col1+col2+col3)='112233'

any ideas or I'm I barking up the wrong tree?

Try:

SELECT name FROM atable WHERE concat(col1, col2, col3)='112233'

Concat will form those 3 columns into the string "112233" which will match your value.
