Removing characters in a field?

I did a bulk upload of products into MYSQL and some of them now have quotes at the beginning and ending of the descriptions like:

"Holga Camera"

Is there a way I can do a mass search and delete on just that character in that field?

You can do an UPDATE query and change the content from what it is to whatever is between the first and the last character.

Read the MySQL manual about things like Substring.
