Access 97 on web

Hi,
I am faced w/the task of taking a simple Access 97 databases and program and placing it on my companies Intranet. Linux running Apache. It will be utilized by approx. 25 people. I have used MYSQL, PHP exclusively so far for any database needs. How complicated is it for me to place the existing Access stuff on the Intranet. I could convert the whole thing to MYSQL if i needed to but w/only 25 users am thinking Access should be ok. I appreciate any insight as this is new territory for me.

The VERY REAL problem with Access and PHP is that you cannot work with access without a DSN. Meaning you cannot do DSN-less connections. Now, if you want to create 1 DSN for EACH .MDB file, that's ok.
And you have to use the ODBC functions for PHP to communicate with that database. Use the ODBC driver from Microsoft for Access.

I recommend to go to MySQL, nonetheless. Access is a bit crappy actually. 🙂
