Select Records from the last 10 minutes

I need to select records that have the date/time field within the last 10 minutes.

The date/time field is in the 25/12/02 12:00:00 format and basically I want to have a select statement selecting times that are within 10 minutes from the now() time.

Any help is appreciated.

Well in postgres you'd go:

select * from table where field > (CURRENT_TIMESTAMP - interval '10 minutes');

I don't think MySQL supports ANSI standard date/time maniulation, however...

I think you have to muck around with date_part and unix_timestamp and all sorts of stuff...
