PHP used to work with DB2, but with 4.0.2 I was unable to get the DB2 module to compile.
Also, the documentation on db2 is now gone form the documentation tree.
I posted a question here a week ago asking if anyone knew what had happened to the docs and whether the db2 module still worked, but never got an answer, so I don't really know if that's temporary or what.
The --with-ibm-db2 switch is still in the source code, but it seems to error out with db2 7.1 PE
