Oracle connection erro _oci_open_server ORA-12546

pls help me out.

i have linux red-hat6.0+apache12+php4 i successfully
compile and install all the things i also connect via
sqlplus system/manager to database
but whan i connect via php script its give me error
ORA-12546

i also see netca and netassis but there is no
solutions if any body got the ans pls replay me

On which machine is your databse server running? NT machine or LINUX machine?

12546, 00000, "TNS:permission denied"

i'm not shure what it means, never got this error but I bet it has to do with the username/password. you are not trying to login as system/manager trough a php script are you. oracle allows anly sertain users to login as system/manager. If you need more help meybe try describing your problem in more detail next time
