MySQL syntax error?

After doing a mysqldump on one machine and trying to load the dump on my own I get this message:

ERROR 1064 at line 1341: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'mid(mid)
) TYPE=MyISAM' at line 11

Any help on fixing this would be appreciated, thanks.

How did you save the dump and how are you now importing the dump?

Just with the standard
mysqldump -u user --password=pass > file.sql
mysql -p < file.sql

Are you taking it from a Unix host to a Windows host ?

If so, you'll probably need to run mysqldump -r rather than piping it to a file as you may run into problems with carriage returns.

This is from a FreeBSD machine to a Linux machine.
