file-upload warning after upgrade to 1.2

Hi there,

I got the following problem:

After my provider has upgraded php to 4.1.2 i get the following warning with my php upload functions:

Warning: stat failed for 66.jpg (errno=2 - No such file or directory) in ../insertImage.php on line 57

But the file is being uploaded, before the upgrade i didn't get this warning.

Any sugeestions/comments

My guess is that you alwasy got the error, but the error-reporting leven surpressed he message.

A stat either works or fails, and you should check wether a file exists before you can access it.

They probably did not upgrade properly... verify that they actualy did upgrade, and not just block off all fileuploads. Its happened to me.

Well - if PHP was not upgraded correctly ( which is what I think is the case ), then my suggestion is to upgrade it properly...Heh.

I know that on my server, running the latest version - file uploads work just fine.

Also, make sure the dirs on the server have not changed, if they have - your PHP script won't find the file it needs to move. If you're running a linux system, perhaps you need to chmod the directories again...

Something wasen't done properly, that you can be sure of.
