troublesome query, plz help!

Here it is...

select clanDivisions.division, clanDivisions.division, icq, aim, msn, message, picture from clanMembers, clanDivisions where (clanMembers.division AND clanMembers.division2) =clanDivisions.division_id AND clanMembers.username='someuser'

While it does produce a result, it isn't what I am looking for. The first two division columns say the same thing, when they should be different.

The clanMembers.division column is different than the clanMembers.division2 column and I want the first two columns of my result to show that.

Please help!

or to put it a better way, how do i combine these 2 queries so mysql doesn it correctly?

As I do not know which columns belongs to which tables I left that out for you to fill in.

Your query should not even compile, as Mysql does not have any boolean data type. But what else is to be expected from Mysql, given their blatant sloppiness concerning semantic issues.
