want NULL value!!

hello,

I am having trouble with entering NULL values in database.
i have a blank, but it keeps being saved as 0 instead of NULL. the default is also NULL. i don't know what is wrong.

please, help me.

To insert a null into a table you need to either specify the keyword null as this

insert into ogrish values(null,4711,
'Hej hopp ditt feta nylle')

or omit the column from the insert altogether

insert into ogrish (aleb,bleb) values
(4711,'Hej hopp ditt feta nylle')

in which case the default (null) will be inserted.

STILL NOT WORKING.
I TRIED TO STORE NULL INSTEAD OF BLANK, BUT STILL COMES OUT AS ZERO.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY TABLE..

try giving us your table schema - ie how it's constructed. I suspect that you have a default 0 for the field in question. check and remove that for starters.
