beginner - any ideas - table setup

hey - heres the situation - im designin a db that displays funds for students.
i want to do a search that asks the criteria: Level(grad, undergrad or international);
program/research field (about 10 to choose from);
and what gender.
then the search should show a table of links such as the scholarship names which you would click on ond take you to a page displaying the detailed information on that specific scholarship(ie. - ID, Name, Application info, Value, Agency, Agency Address, Gender required, Eligibility info).
Im tryin to figure out how to set up the tables and relations, anyone that might wanna help - that would be EXCELLENT. thanks.

You really need to look at your data further and the frequency of change. For starters the Agency and address would typically be in a separate table(s) in a full blown system but unless someone wants to see all the scholarships offered by a single agency it may be better to just have them listed every time.

Try and find a book/website on normalised database design and quickly read the relevant bits. Normalising takes effort and increases the complexity of coding but you get a cleaner, better result. However duplication of data is frequently acceptable in the business world - you have to look at your goals and resources.
