We store our localization data in an Oracle DB (varchar2 fields) the complete language data icould be administered with a frontend and from time to time we make a complete language dump, which means that we run a lil PHP script, which creates a *.sql script that contains plenty of inserts.
Now we had to integrate some texts and we store them as a CLOB. The question is now, how we could backup this data in such a convenient way like the inserts. Which means to create some files that we can restore easily. I heard something about sql loader - maybe this would be a proper solution?!
