schema diff

Anybody know of a tool that can create a SQL file with 'alter table's that would change one db schema to another?

You'd specify a source db/table/sql file and a destination db/table/sql file, then it spits out a sql script. A "SQL Diff" I guess.

I'm looking for the same thing, have you had any luck finding it in other places?

It truly would be a great tool.. I'm writing and maintaining alot of projects that have a SQL backend, and keep the sources in CVS but always have great problems when I have to back up to a older version because the schema has changed.
