Hello,
I have been reading up for hours on this one and I have not found out
why my problem is occuring.
I've got myPHPAdmin running on NT 4/IIS, essentially because I find it
useful to create backup dumps of my databases by writing daily to a
new .sql text file with "add drop table". So far, no problem.
But when I restore a backup with the "Or Location of the textfile :"
and browse for the import the .sql text file and press GO, Internet
Explorer seems to "hang" and freeze for an undetermined period when
the file(D😎 is "big". ( small databases ( a few M😎 don't cause this
problem).
After "killing" IE, and verifying the DB, it appears to be correctly
restored from the file.
I also tried on another machine - same problem.
The file/DB is about 50 MB big. Is this a known problem, related to
the display in IE of so much info, or have I not done installed
something correctly ?
What can I do to prevent this ? Thanks for any ideas or hints.
Wouter
