Hi there. Everything on my website is running fine. But I am getting really annoying crashes with the mysql database.
Mysql is running on a windows 2000 server as a service. Approximately every half hour, the mysql database will crash. Leading to errors on my site. I have had to set the mysql service to automatically restart every time it crashes, but I just can't find the reason why this is happening!
In the mySQL error log no errors are recorded except the message 'ready for connections' when the service has restarted.
In the windows event log there is an error recorded with the message:
"The MySql service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 0 milliseconds: Restart the service."
The event ID in Windows event viewer is 7031, which turns out to be the id for 'unknown error'
If anyone has any suggestions or has experienced anything similar, your help would be very appreciated.
and please, if you were going to reply suggesting that I switch to Linux/unix as an OS please don't, it is just not an option.
