MySql results --> 2D-Array

Hey,

Is there a quick and easy way of converting the search results on a MySql db, which is comprised of multiple rows and fields, to a two dimensional array.

I figure it would make the parsing of the results just a tad easier. I could venture into looping and the likes, but hey if there is an easier way, I'd love to know.

The easiest way is to just loop through the results:

while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result, MYSQL_ASSOC))
{
$aData[] = $row;
};

Remember to destroy the resultset after this, or you'll be storing the entire set twice.

I had been tinkering around with some looping and came up with something similar.

Mind you thinks for the tip on destroying the result set I didn't think about that :oP
