replication of db

is it possible that a mysql database running on a server can be replicated to a local home Windows PC ?

Replication implies real time and periodic update of one db system from another. Are you sure this is what you want? Otherwise, you could allways just do a dump of the db and reload it on your home system.

yes, but as Big D said, that requires that your home PC is online 24/7.
