MySQL and Unix timestamp

I have a database where I store a given date in a Unix timestamp format, i.e. 1025733600. Field type is (int).

I want to select certain fields for a specific date but no matter what time.

I should look something like this: "SELECT * FROM events WHERE unix_time='yyyy-mm-dd'"

Can somebody please help me!

A timestamp is the number of seconds since 1-1-1970, so you can create a timestamp for the beginning of the date and the end of the date, and select all recors where the timestamp falls between these two values.

For ex, all dates in the first day of 1-1-1970: SELECT FROM table WHERE stamp_field>0 and stampdfield < 2460*60

Thanks! I guess it that will work, but I used FROM_UNIXTIME(unix_time,'%Y-%m-%d') and it seemed to work too 🙂
