mysql headache

Hey there,

currently sat in middle of final year project, but mysql has decided to hate me.

I attempted to alter a table by adding a new field but it produced an 'errcode 13'. I dumped my data, dropped the database and recreated it. Now it won't let me put any of the data back in again.

mysql says:

can't create/write to file '.itlab\calljoblookup.frm' (ErrCode: 13)

anyone got any ideas or will i have to reinstall the entire dbms??

for anybody's future reference, had to reinstall mysql and now its working fine...
