base url

hi,

can you use the base_url constant in a table? how would i go about this??

what im wanted to do is this:

id name address

1 test base_url/temp/

this however doesnt work, anybody have any suggestions?

you'd be wise to repost this with some more info. What's the problem?

Won't it save? are you using addslashes() and stripslashes() with your sqlstr?

or is it some other problem. As far as mysql is concerned you are saving text and it shouldn't care what it means to us.
