hi,
we have an application to share files among different companies/org... so far we used Oracle and MSSQL as databases and would like to use it with postgres now ( any other recommended open source transactional db is more then welcome). should there be any problem with storing big files.

any advice weather or not postgres is suitable for storing files and possibly some optimisation tips will be very appriciated
