counting text in database

Hi,

I have a database with all kinds of information in it, what I would like to do is to pick a couple of the columns and extract the top reoccuring entries in it. These are text fields.

for instance, it would tell me that the top occuring words are "the" "on" and so on,

anybody have an idea on how to do this?
