I'm developing from a Win box with apache and connecting to SQL Server on a different machine. Every time I load a page that a connection function I made (basically a wrap-around for mssql_pconnect()) it gets delayed for about 15 seconds. The server is not so busy, because I connect much quicker from Access (ODBC).
Any suggestions?
