Please help me with this Database design

Hi I am a totally new database design user.

I want to build a small web site which will let users search for song lyrics by movies (only). They could also search the entire lyrics database for some search terms (particular words in the lyrics as an example)

Simply put:

A movie could have many songs.
I would like to be able to sort by Movie name (a, b, c, d, e.... so on).

What would the database design for MYSQL be?

I would really appreciate any help regarding this!

If you are totally new to DB design, you've got your work cut out for you! This is like asking someone who has only worked with tinker toys to design the Golden Gate Bridge. I would never cross it, no way.

Assuming you want this database to be in MySql, and the scripts to run in PHP, let me suggest a good book for you:

"PHP Fast & Easy Web Development" by Julie Meloni.

You should be able to get thru this tomb in a few months or so. Then you will be ready to start designing, per above. Sorry, but you've got to pay your dues first.
