Windows 2000 without sp2

I have put several pages on an IIS Server but when I try to visualize them with an IExplorer running under Windows 2000 the browser is unable to do it, but if we install Windows 2000 ServicePack 2 then it works. Does Anyone know if this is a Windows 2000 bug or a problem of the installation of IIS Server? I think that it also doesn`t work under Windows 98. Can anyone tell me anythting about that?

Well, you have 'something' on 'a' server and 'it' doesn't 'work' without sp2.

That's like going to a garage and saying: "I have 'a' car and when I do 'something' with it, nothing happens."

How about telling us a bit more about what you're trying to do with PHP and databases that doesn't work without sp2?

(and why is it a problem anyway, sp2 is required, not optional)
