I am new to PHP but love it. I have tested it with OMNIhttp web server on Windows 98 OS.
I want to learn how to serve data using PHP and the Windows OS. Please help me find the correct solution to do this.
I would like to know which database program, which and which webserver will work together on the Windows 9x platform.
Where do the beginners of beginners go to learn how to use PHP to connect to a database?
I already design and can code HTML pages and have program logic design experience using BASIC, VisualBASIC, etc. I do not have any experience with Java, only hours with C, etc.
Perhaps there is a recommended book for my level that would answer my questions?
I can probabaly understand the syntax but is there something I can use to understand how to get info from web forms into variables and how to write files?
