FoxPRO and PHP... SSL query?

Anyone managed to utilise a foxpro db connection and data manipulation through foxpro?

Assuming Said connection is possible any steps need to be taken to utilise SSL connection?

Im not the worlds most expert php guy out there so some help would be nice...
