UD and two dropdowns with dynamic filter

How do I create two drop downs one being the source and one the target.

I want the first on to be the state id and use that for filtering the second dropdown.

I am using UD with PHP via Phakt and Mysql.

I have seen a couple extensions for ASP, Java but not PHP.

Any ideas?

relatively simple.

Have a look at the javascript.com site and see how you can combine server-side and client-side (javascript) together.

Build a static page with the javascript moving the selected value over to the second drop down and removing from itself. Then use php to build the static page and to process the resulting page.

PHP won't be able to do this itself unless everytime the user selected an option it caused a form submit (easy to do) and the user had to hang around waiting for the page to refresh.
