Hello all,
Since a few days i have a big problem...
Some databases lock their own tables as soon as i fill in medium text fields...
At first i thought the server etc... was corrupt but after several re-installs i cannot get rid of it...
It manefest itself in both 3.23.xx and 4.0.1 versions...
It is the windows version.
Strange thing is all goes well and i can re-edit the fields of a table with medium text, however when i fill in one of the medium text fields the table locks after accepting the value and i have to empty with it with a wildcard as i cannot enter nor delete single fields...
Anyone having the same problems?
My problems started after i installed a webapp called EZ-Publish that screwed up my configuration files...
I thought that after taking off and re-installing MySQL i could solve it but no such thing...
Please help me as this is unworkable...
