MySQL and Row comparison

This might sound like a really stupid question and I'm sure it's simple.
Here is my delema:
I need to know how to search through a table for a username then when I find it I need to grab the rest of the user's information. (Like his first name and last name.)

I would be very abliged.

Just two notes:
the 'usertablehere' does not have % signs around it, and the query must have quotes around the value of the username.

The final query must look like:

SELECT * FROM yourtablehere WHERE username='username';
