ok, i need to select all records where the month in a date/time field equal a certain value...

I know there is a way but im not sure how set up my sql statement to return the information i want. Here is a link that describes the functions supported by MySql and MONTH() is one of them. Can someone tell me how to use it? Thanks.

Would it be somehting like
Select *
From your_table
Where Month(date_field) = certain_value;
