Hi
I need help on connecting PHP with access and mysql database on some remote server.
My application of PHP resides on suppose-
http://www.server1.com and database on http://www.server2.com.
How do i make a connetion for the remote database of mysql and MS-Access. I found help on this site which mentions,
mysql_connect("XXX.XXX.XX.XX:port","root",""); XXX being the IP of server2.
I dunno abut the remote connection of access. Also, pls lemme know that the above for mysql will work or not.

ps: its still not sure, but either server may be on windows and/or on Linux.
