i get a error that mssql_connect() is undefined function!

what version do i need for mssql_connect() to be available?

my version is 4.0.6-7 of php.

Are you sure that should not be:

mysql_connect() ?

mssql_connect() for MS SQL database connection. Undefined function - check your parameters.

Available in PHP 4.
